There's this little thing I need to learn... as I look at Lei everyday...
No doubt this small boy aka my most beloved laogong may be a little immatured and even irresponsible at times.... he has this ONE thing that I rarely see in pple today.....
That is, believing in the goodness of people..... and forgiving mistakes that people make.. for their own convenience and in their self-interest. Do you call that simple-minded and naive? Maybe, yes. But because of such simplicity of mind, his life is far more happy than many of us. He has his setbacks, his share of sorrows and troubles, but he gets over them far more easily than many of us. While I teach him about cautionand hypocrisy etc, he teaches me to appreciate the simplicities of life, forgiveness and kindness.. His temper is so gentle.... and his nature so kind...
I'm just so blessed that while we have our similarities, we are so different... and I have so much to learn from my most wonderful laogong :)
